What is Laser Tattoo Removal?

What to Expect on the Day of Laser Tattoo Removal
When you come in for your Laser Tattoo Removal, once you are sat in a comfortable position, you will be provided with a pair of protective eye shields. Dr. K will then test your skin’s reaction to the laser to determine the most effective energy for your treatment. Once the laser is dialed in, it will be used to pass pulses of intense light through the top layers of your skin, but will only be absorbed by the tattoo pigment.
If you have smaller tattoos, they will require fewer pulses than larger ones, but in either case, it will take multiple treatments to get rid of a tattoo. You will notice that your tattoo becomes progressively lighter with each treatment.
Many patients will find that laser tattoo removal is uncomfortable but typically doesn’t require anesthesia. Depending on the location of your tattoo, you may want to apply a topical anesthesia cream beforehand.

Dr. K was fabulous. She was very informative on the areas I needed fillers in and what would work best for me. I saw immediate improvement and am so happy with the results. I will definitely return and also refer her to my friends/family. I’ve been a resident of NV for 18 years and have yet to find an injector I like. I’m thrilled to have finally found one. She’s a keeper.
